1. EQUIPMENT CONDITION
1. All Equipment will be checked by My Friends Photos before dispatch.
a. You agree immediately to contact My Friends Photos in the event the equipment received is faulty or damaged.
b. You agree immediately to contact My Friends Photos in the event the equipment received is not fully charged.
c. You agree immediately to contact My Friends Photos in the event that not all Equipment listed on the Invoice has been received.
2. RETURN OF EQUIPMENT
1. You agree to return the Equipment to My Friends Photos:
a. in the same condition in which You received it.
b. to the Return Location specified on the return address label supplied.
c. posted by the Post By Date in the enclosed Return Instructions.
2. There are no extensions to the Post By Date set out on the Return Instructions unless previously agreed to in writing by My Friends Photos. Late charges of $40 per day will apply to Equipment that is not posted by the agreed Post By Date.
3. Equipment that is sent to My Friends Photos more than two days past the Post By Date without prior arrangement with My Friends Photos may require My Friends Photos to file a Police Report.
3. USE OF EQUIPMENT
1. Persons must not use the Equipment who are:
a. intoxicated or under the influence of any drug, toxic, or illegal substance.
b. under the age of 16.
2. The Equipment must not be used for any purpose other than for which it is intended.
3. The Equipment must not be allowed to get wet and must not be used in the rain.
4. The identification lanyard and stickers must not be removed from the cameras.
5. Do not attempt to load into the card reader any memory card that is not:
CF (Compact Flash)
CFII (Compact Flash II)
MD (Microdrive)
SM (Smart Media)
SD (Secure Digital)
MMC (Multi Media Card)
MS (Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro)
6. Do not attempt to use any other cards, including but not limited to, the following cards
XD (eXtreme Digital)
mSD (Mini SD)
7. Do not attempt to remove the memory cards from the My Friends Photos Digital Cameras.
4. CHARGES
1. An Insurance excess of $80 per item may be incurred should any of the equipment be not returned or not fit for re-use.
2. Final charges will be determined after a final inspection by Our representative which will be made as soon as practicable after return to, or recovery by My Friends Photos, of the Equipment.
3. If insurance has not been taken out, cost for replacing or repairing damaged or lost items will be passed on to You. Camera replacement is $200 and multicard reader replacement is $300.
5. OWNER'S LIABILITY
1. Except as provided at law We are not liable to any person, and You indemnify My Friends Photos for any loss of, or damage to, any property:
a. damage to the cameras and memory cards, whether they belong to My Friends Photos or not.
6. PRIVACY
1. Information submitted by You to My Friends Photos is kept in the strictest confidence and is used only for the purpose of processing orders or enquiries, and to communicate with You about special offers, new products and services and promotions. We will never share this information with any other business or individual.
2. Photos submitted to My Friends Photos are kept in the strictest confidence.
7. SHIPPING
1. All items are shipped using Australian Air Express courier service.
2. Shipping costs are included in the cost of the service.
3. Your order will be dispatched to arrive at least 1 day before the event.
4. You are required to use the prepaid envelope provided to return the Pack and Equipment to My Friends Photos.
5. You need to retain the registered post receipt (given to you by Australia Air Express) when returning the Equipment. You may be asked to provide this on request, as proof of You returning the Equipment to My Friends Photos should the Equipment not arrive at My Friends Photos.
8. MY FRIENDS PHOTOS
1. Is not responsible for the quality of the photographs taken by the guests.
2. Shall not alter the images in any way.
3. Will not use in any way, the non-event photos downloaded on the multicard reader.
4. Reserves the right to remove any offensive photographs from the final produced DVDs.
5. Will keep copies of the photographs from the event for backup for no more than 3 months.
6. Reserves the right to amend the Terms & Conditions without notice at any time.
9. PAYMENT
1. We accept Visa and Mastercard Credit Cards.
2. A Direct Bank Deposit in $AUD can be arranged by contacting My Friends Photos for our bank account details.
3. Payment must be made in full 4 weeks prior to the event, unless We give written permission to delay payment.
4. Payment of deposit and / or full payment is taken as acceptance of the Terms & Conditions.
10. REFUND POLICY
1. We shall refund the full amount less $50 administration fee if notified more than 4 weeks prior to the event.
2. We shall refund 50% of the total amount if the event is cancelled less than 4 weeks prior to the event.
